May 2022
Today no text. Only pictures. Follow us on a tour over our lovely farm.
Wellies on first.
Let's take the back door of our home. Prune trees trailed against the wall.
View of our garden against the backdrop of the coos and the wetlands. We feel so lucky to see this view every day.
Some of our coos have come in for a snack.
This picture is very important for us as it highlights the richness of our animals' feed. Look at the flowers and the variation in colours.
Walking towards our wetlands.
The new additional splashes have made such a difference in the number of wildlife at our farm.
One of Sabrina's favourite places on the farm. She loves the sound of the fresh water running, coming down from our own well.
Lots of wild flowers popping up. This is next to the river.
Upwards again to our rocky fields, passing fields where the clover has grown strong and high. Rich soils.
It's incredibly rewarding to see the amount of cowslips growing. A sign of undisturbed land as they take years to settle.

The final picture had to be one of our coos in the top fields.
The May order form is now open
You can now place your meat and pie order online, and then choose to either collect it at Banchory or Bridge of Don Farmers market, or else to collect it at the farm, or else to have it delivered. FOR MORE INFO SEE BELOW.
I would like to give 3 good reasons though to choose for a collection at the farm (on Sunday 22nd May, between 11am to 2pm). Firstly, because our farm looks really beautiful in its spring dress right now, with lambs hopping through the fields and wildflowers coming through. Secondly, because we offer one fresh baked pie per family to those collecting at the farm. If you want more than 1 pie, you can purchase extra fresh baked pies (as long as we haven't run out). Nothing better than stopping on your way back home and enjoying a beautiful view while munching on a pie. Thirdly, because we're always happy to see you and have a short chat.
On our product range for this month:
On our product range for this month: * There's our usual list of aged Belted Galloway Beef and Hebridean Hogget/Lamb, and our range of home cured bacons. * Our famed Wark Farm pies, made with our own hot water pastry recipe and filled to the brim with high quality meat (frozen). Our seasonal special is the Lamb & Wild Garlic. All our beef and lamb meat is cut fresh, which means that it can be frozen at home. It also means that, while we try to accommodate everyone's requests, we cannot guarantee not to run out of certain cuts. We treat orders in order of receipt, meaning that the sooner you get your order in, the more likely it will be that you will get everything you requested for.

COLLECTION/DELIVERY INFO:
Customers can choose for either * collection at Banchory Farmers market, Saturday 21th May, 9am to 1pm * collection at Bridge of Don, Aberdeen, Saturday 21th May, 9am to 1pm * collection at the farm, Sunday 22nd May, from 11am to 2pm * or delivery, Friday 20th May. Delivery is only possible to certain areas in central Aberdeen and Aberdeen City, Deeside and Donside and is free of charge for orders above £40, otherwise it is £5 delivery charge. If you'd like a delivery of pies only and no meat, we ask you to order a minimum of 8 retail packs to justify having our driver drive out. These are frozen pies, ready to be baked, so they can be kept for a long time in your freezer. Alternatively, you can combine it with ordering some of our delicious meats or bacons or come and collect a smaller order at the farm.
PAYMENT INFO: Invoices will be sent out by email at latest Friday 27th May with information on how to pay by bank transfer.
