Wark Farm

January 2021

Tradition would have it that in a January newsletter we would wish you all a good New Year and take a look back to the year that's been and a look forward to the one to come.

Well ... the Happy New Year is easily managed, sending All The Best to all in the Wark Farm community for 2021. We are incredibly grateful and happy to be connected to and supported by such a wonderful bunch of people; customers, suppliers, chefs, contractors, collaborators, mentors and of course the home team at the farm.

As to looking back and forward ... normal has been postponed again as we start the year, plans are up for grabs, we are all socially separating and even our geese and chickens are in lockdown (as bird flu spreads through the country). So lets forget all that for now and go for a snowy walk around the farm instead...

January Orders

We're a little later this month, allowing for the New Year holidays and the usual allowance of Covid related complications. Banchory Farmers market has also been cancelled this month. We will be delivering this month on Friday 22nd January and open for collections from the farm on Saturday 23rd, 11am until 2pm.

We have our normal range of Belted Galloway Beef and Hebridean Lamb to order. There is also bacon and a range of other cured items and a selection of pies. Also this month we have a nice batch of mallard duck available to us which we have as packs of 4 breasts or 4 legs to make an interesting change to the regular items.
